Wally Weitz is President of Wallace R. Weitz & Company. Weitz, a Chartered Financial Analyst, manages the Hickory Fund and Partners III Opportunity Fund and co-manages the Value Fund and Partners Value Fund. In 1983, he started Wallace R. Weitz & Company, and now heads a group of seven additional investment professionals that manages approximately $2 billion. Weitz and his wife Barbara have three grown children and three grandchildren.
