Four indicators educators can use to identify potential dropouts in 6th grade

Students who are at risk for dropping out of school can be identified
as early as 6th grade with four simple indicators, according to a study
of 13,000 Philadelphia school district students.
COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
More than 5,000 students are absent from school in the Omaha metropolitan area each school day.
In the past year, more than 1,000 students have been referred to the Douglas County attorney for 20 or more absences from school.
